Along with the many cows, horses, pigs, dogs, cat, and chickens they have. Most definitely bigger than my family.

4 days

It's been a few days. But that is because I'm trying to keep my mind busy and stop counting the days until my due date. 4 days by the way.

Yesterday we ventured to Newton to visit some friends there and spend the evening with the family. We went out to eat at Okoboji Grill and Mario got his birthday presents. The waitress thought it was really his birthday...which she had good reason to believe so. The singing crew came out and sang him his birthday song. Poor Mario said on the way home "I turned red..." haha. When we went out for his birthday on his actual birthday he wouldn't let me tell the waiter it was his birthday. So it was pay back and I didn't have anything to do with it! :)

We spent this morning shopping. We started at Sam's Club and ended at Wal*Mart. Bought a few of the things we still need before the baby comes. Tomorrow we are going to Target to get the last few things on the list.

I am feeling rather different today. Extremely tired, worn out, and icky really. I'm hoping this either passes or ends up as labor. Doubtful on either at this point.

Mario just went to work at 5 and gets home at 10. I still have to wash clothes tonight, although I was told to wait until tomorrow, I just don't like to take Mario's day off as a day to put him to work. Especially since it's only a half day again tomorrow.

I also should organize the baby's room a little before things get too bad in there. We don't have much of a system yet but hopefully we can get one set up soon.

With any luck the next time I have a chance to post will be after the baby is born. Praying so anyhow :)

TGIF

Today is Friday! I just made an appointment to get a massage at 4:30 tonight. I called and asked Mario what he thought about it. He said "you are the one who is going to have the pain in a few days, you want a massage call and get one." So I did :)

Mario and I have started playing dominoes after he gets off work. I learned on New Year's day, taught him about three days ago and he kicks my butt almost each time we play. It's a nice thing to have someone to play a game with or watch TV with. But I must admit I wish I could win once in a while.

Well I'm still here

It's Wednesday and I'm still pregnant. Was hoping to be done by now, but no such hope. I've also decided that when this little one decides to make his appearance that will be completely fine.

Other than that nothing has been happening that's been too exciting. Mario's birthday was Monday, we went to the doctor and then out to eat. Nothing too exciting.

So here's to waiting a few more days.

Cumin

Anyone have any idea how many uses cumin has??? A TON!

http://ibsrelieftips.blogspot.com/2007/04/cumin-tea-inflamation.html

It does a lot of beneficial things for your stomach apparently.

Anyhow, today I was able to go outside, it's not quite as cold. I dropped Mario off at work and took a stroll through Wal*Mart. Came home and have been reading about our friend cumin. What a day!

Other than the cumin info I have nothing important to say today. Just taking it day by day and hoping for something exciting!

We have an appointment on Monday the 19th, which is Mario's birthday. Hoping for progress, maybe even birthday buddies :)

Brrrr

Today is bitter! Currently -11 degrees with a wind chill of -28. And it's only 5:15pm.

Mario said it's best for me to just stay home, between the temperature and ice that has come of it. So today I have been sitting at home, making hats! I am making one for myself finally, next I'm going to close one that Mario has made for our son, and then I am going to start one for Mario. It's too cold to not have one!

Today has been a day of nothing. So when I got off the couch and had extreme pain in my pelvic area it was interesting, since then I have had on and off contractions. Nothing painful, but I can most definitely tell they are happening. I can only hope they don't get too bad and hang around for days before the baby is born.

I've spent a while on the computer, so now it's time to get back to the hats! Hope each of you has a warm place to go.

18 days and counting!

Thought maybe I should start a blog to inform you all of what is going on with the family. This way it is in one spot and I don't have to type it 100's of times to each person separately.

Today is absolutely freezing! High isn't going to break the double digits. I was thinking how nice it would be for our Burrito to make his appearance tomorrow, that way Mario doesn't have to go to work until it gets a little bit warmer. But we still have 18 days until his due date. Really praying he is ready soon. Mario's birthday is Monday the 19th, what a fabulous birthday present don't ya think?

The wonderful part of having cold weather is the ever so fabulous smelling pot of cinnamon tea we have sitting on the stove. So simple to make and healthy for you ;)

So as you are all sitting in your respectable locations, I raise my mug to you and say "here's to warmth!"
