Staying at Grandmas

It has been a long two weeks. It started on Thursday March 26, Mario had quit his job in Ames on Wednesday and started at El Charro in Ankeny on Thursday. He left by 9:30am and didn't get home until 11pm. Alejandro had an awful day that day. He cried the entire time, unless he was eating he was crying. Friday Mario left again at 9:30am, and I got a phone call at 1:30 saying he was coming home, he said "and I'm going to work in Newton." That was all I heard and the phone call was over. Mario and I had a guy coming that day to look at the apartment, so we wait for him and as soon as he left we took off.

Mario started at Senor Tequila that night and liked it so much he asked to stay. They quickly agreed. We have been staying at my parents house since Tuesday March 31. We got out of our routine and haven't been sleeping very well...at all. I really hope to get a decent night of sleep soon!

We have been touring multiple places to live. We found a townhouse in the middle of town and are moving in in the next two weeks. Alejandro is sleeping with Grandma now so it's off to nap for me!

Shots

Alejandro had his two month appointment yesterday, at which he was given his shots. He screamed, he did not cry he screamed at the initial poke and then wailed. Poor baby boy. He calmed down rather quickly though. And with the help of Tylenol he has been his normal self. He did however wake up every three hours on the dot last night.

He weighed 7lb 12oz and was put on a premie formula we are to mix with my breastmilk twice a day to help him gain weight. This is the plan until he can latch on without the help of the shield at which point he won't need the formula.

He has grown an inch since he was born and everything else checked out normal. Just to make this slender baby a chunky baby.
